Hurricane Ike
We survived Hurricane Ike!! Thankfully, no damage was done to the house, but were without power for 7 days. We all hunkered down in our bedroom for the storm, and stayed there for the next 7 days.
The girls were real troppers through the entire experience. Lauren loved all the outside time, and Lily has decided that she prefers air-conditioning.

Pictures of the Girls
Today Hurricane Ike is expected to make Landfall in the Houston area. We are keeping our fingers crossed that we will have no damage here in Sugar Land. With all this free time on our hands, we have had time to add more pictures of the the girls.

Lily's Christening
This was the day we had Lily baptised. All went well for the baptism. Lily started getting cranky during the service before the baptism and so we gave her some formula. Well - who knew they were going to sing nearly every song in the book before we actually got to the baptism, so Lily drank quite a bit of milk. You see sometimes when Lily has had tooooo much milk she returns the milk and flows like the Mississippi. We both could just in vision Lily being held up by the preacher as she is shown off to the congregation and a river of stinky formula begins spraying on everyone in close proximity. Thank goodness all went well and we enjoyed another blessed event with one of our girls. Oh yeah - let us not forget Lauren throughout the ceremony who decided to go back and forth between the pew and the minister. Oh to be 2.
